Mosaic is a collaboration of four Newark cultural groups: the Mid-Atlantic Ballet, the Newark Symphony Orchestra, the Newark Arts Alliance, and the Delaware Dance Company. By working together we hope to expand our audiences, raise awareness for the dance, music, art and theater that we offer, and to raise money for our non-profit organizations. Since its beginning in 1993, the Newark Arts Alliance has presented a wide variety of arts exhibits, classes, musical and literary performances, public art, and festivals the entire community can enjoy. The "Art to Go" program brings free art projects to area parks, schools and community centers. For more information, visit www.newarkartsalliance.org.

Since 1997, the Mid-Atlantic Ballet delights in continuing the traditions of classical ballet while inspiring its dancers to also embrace contemporary style and interpretation. Over 100 dancers come to MAB for year round training. MAB has also made over 100 classroom visits to area schools, and free performances for children at area libraries incorporate narration by an accomplished story teller with our dances. The Newark Symphony Orchestra has been making beautiful music for over 40 years. The NSO with its eighty-plus musicians presents four symphony concerts and four chamber music concerts each season. Fine classical music in your own community at affordable prices encourages family participation and is a cultural treasure. The NSO is supported by a strong board of Directors and a dedicated volunteer organization - the Newark Symphony Society with 125 members and growing. Also, the NSO holds an annual youth concerto competition, choosing two winners from among the exceptionally talented high school and college musicians from our region. The Delaware Dance Company, founded in 1978, is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge and appreciation of dance in the community through instruction, performance and education.  Under the direction of Sunshine Latshaw, the organization provides high quality dance training and performance opportunities to over 300 dancers from Delaware and nearby communities.  Centered in ballet, DDC also offers a strong curriculum in Modern, Jazz, Tap & Musical Theatre.  To learn more, visit www.delawaredance.org.
