Opportunity to create a large memorial wall piece for Hank’s Hope
Location: Nanticoke Hospital, Seaford DE
Interested artists should contact Anne Mathay, founder and Executive Director of Hank’s Hope, Inc., at hankshope@gmail.com.

Hank’s Hope is a nonprofit that provides resources and support to women and their families who have experienced a pregnancy loss or infant loss.

This October, Hank’s Hope will be sponsoring their first memorial ceremony for pregnancy and infant loss. Part of their program at Nanticoke Hospital will include having artwork installed in the hospital chapel.

Nanticoke Hospital has a large wall space for a sculpture/painting/3D piece of art that will be used to honor these losses. Individual names will be part of the artwork. They are open to ideas but want to incorporate the Nanticoke River since it’s such an important part of the Seaford community. They are looking for a piece to be mounted on the wall that could be removed if needed (for repainting or redesign the space). The piece would need to allow for updates, as individual names are added each year. Contact Anne Mathay for additional details.
