Thanks to the many people who joined us on the evening of Saturday, November 3, 2007, 7-10 pm, for the second annual Mosaic fundraiser: the Mad Hatter Gala.

The auctioneer for the live auction was New Castle County Executive Chris Coons, who was ably assisted by Newark City Councilman, and Gala Honorary Co-Chair Paul Pomeroy. |
The silent art auction featured paintings, photographs, jewelry, ceramics and scarves by local artists. To see some of the donated items, click here. |

There was also a silent auction of merchandise and gift certificates donated by local businesses. |

Our Honorary Co-Chairs for the Gala were Delaware State Treasurer Jack Markell and Newark City Councilman Paul Pomeroy. The celebrity auctioneer for the evening was New Castle County Executive Chris Coons. In addition to the entertainment, there was gourmet food provided by local restaurants, including the Iron Hill Brewery, Caffe Gelato, the Blue Crab Grill, Panera and Brewed Awakenings. There was also be a raffle and a chance to dress up and have fun in Newark while supporting five great non-profit organizations. |

The raffle item this year was two tickets within the continental US, generously donated by Southwest Airlines!
