For an artsy, upscale evening...

Photo of Masquerade Gala attendees...come out to the Masquerade Gala on November 1 from 7-10 p.m. This annual fundraiser, which benefits five Newark arts organizations, has built a reputation over the past two years as a great place to mingle, eat fabulous food, and see the community’s arts in action.

What to wear, what to wear? Just follow your style! Masks are definitely encouraged – we’d love to see what you create – but not required. Dress up in black tie or a sparkly gown, if you choose. As the song says, “It doesn’t matter what you wear, just as long as you are there.”

The location is the University of Delaware’s Trabant Center on Main Street. Mayor Vance A. Funk is the honorary chair for the evening.

Tickets are $75, and can be purchased online at www.newarkartsalliance.org/mosaic.html, using Pay Pal. Or you can call or stop by the NAA and pay with a credit card or check. You’ll pick up your tickets at the door on the night of the gala.
