The Newark Garden Tour returns! Enjoy a self-guided tour of 11 Newark-area gardens, and experience how art and creativity can shape landscapes in both small and large spaces. Highlights include: The garden of Dr. Patrick T. Harker, President of the University of Delaware; a sumptuous woodland garden with streams and bridges; and a garden that offers year-round color while achieving minimum maintenance (take notes on that one!).
The tour will include artists from the Philadelphia Plein Air Painters painting on location at select gardens, as well as a performance by Serenata Strings at one of the houses.
Tickets are available at the Newark Arts Alliance in advance and on the day of the tour. Ticket-holders must redeem their tickets at the NAA on the day of the tour to receive the Garden Tour map.
Your Garden Tour map will contain discounts at Home Grown Café and Orzada Farms Drive Thru Nursery.
Thank you to Alexander’s Lawn & Garden, Home Grown Café, and Orzada Farms Drive Thru Nursery for your support!
