The first birthday party at the NAA was a “shoe-in”. The youngsters painted old shoes and turned them into flower planters.
You can celebrate a youngster’s special day with an art-oriented party at the Newark Arts Alliance, too. You get exclusive use of the classroom for 2.5 hours ($75), an art instructor for a one-hour project ($40), and art supplies ($3 per child). Choose from a variety of projects. A party attendant is also available for $25, but is not required if the parent assists. To check the schedule and for details call the NAA at 302-266-7266.
