DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Join us for our annual holiday shopping experience where artists take over the main gallery with artist booths for five weeks starting the week of Thanksgiving and running until the end of the year. Artists will sell ceramics\, jewelry\, fused glass\, acrylic paintings\, wire sculpture\, cards\, clay monoprints\, dyed wearables\, soaps & lotions homegoods\, ornaments and dolls. Admission and parking are free. Please wear a mask. Hours are: Sun.\, Tues.\, Wed.\, Fri.\, Sat. 12-4pm and Thurs.\,12-7pm. You will find additional shopping in our Members’ Gallery Shop. Jewelry\, cards\, books\, ceramics\, handwovens\, fused and stained glass\, linens\, wearables\,  mosaics\, pens\, wood cutting boards\, drawings\, paintings\, prints\, photography and artist made ornaments. See samples of artists work below. SUMMARY:Solo or Group Show Proposals sought for 2022
DESCRIPTION:CALL FOR SOLO OR GROUP SHOWS FOR 2022!\nDo you have a body of work that would fill a space and has a consistent theme? The Gallery committee is seeking proposals for the 2022 exhibition schedule. Individuals or groups of artists may submit a proposal for a show in the Terry Foreman gallery some time in 2022. Groups of artists should have work with a similar theme to create a cohesive show. Strong proposals will have a well thought out theme that is consistent for the body of work and not a sampling of many styles and mediums that an artist has created. Good quality images are also an important part of the proposal so the committee can get a clear idea of the quality of the work. An application fee of $15 for NAA members and $25 for non-members is required for submission. If accepted\, an additional fee of $85 is required. Deadline to submit proposals is October 1\, 2021\, Artists will be notified by November 1\, 2021.

DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our Annual Holiday Art Market is now accepting applications for it’s popular Fall/Winter market. Fourteen artists set up their art displays in the main gallery at the Newark Arts Alliance starting the week of Thanksgiving and ending on the last day of the year. The exhibit dates are November 22 to December 31\, 2021. Artists benefit from over five weeks of market traffic from shoppers seeking holiday gifts. Booths are $80 each and 20% commission is taken on all sales. Artists must work a total of 16 hours during the five week event as gallery monitors. All artists must be current members of the Newark Arts Alliance. (applicants can join after gaining acceptance into the show). SUMMARY:The Nature of Things
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Rowena Macleod\, Debbie Hegedus and Caroline Beck are artists\, teachers and lovers of nature. They pay homage to our wondrous\, intricate and threatened natural world in an exhibit at the Newark Arts Alliance. They’ll be showing work in a variety of media including works on paper\, canvas and clay which illumate worlds that are real and imagined. The common theme here is nature\, but how the three artists interpret their “landscapes” is where the transformation happens. The viewer will find solace in the images\, as we usually do in nature – now more than ever as we spend an increasing amount of time indoors on our rectangular devices. We look to nature for common ground in our increasingly polarized society. Nature rarely disappoints us. Show is on display from September 1-25[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
