White Clay Creek Exhibit Juror Statement
Thank you to all who submitted art for the White Clay Creek show. It was a joy to juror this show and immerse myself in the beauty of White Clay Creek from the perspective of so many talented artists. To see the stream, water, fields, trees, plants, buildings, woods and wildlife come to life in a variety of mediums and styles connected me with the many memories White Clay Creek holds for us all. The show includes acrylic, pastel, oil, gouache, watercolor, photography, mixed media, pen and ink.
With so many strong works of art, one of my criteria was to include as many artists as possible. After the selections were made, I was glad to hear some pieces were from people submitting their work for the first time. To the artist and the gallery committee, thank you for creating such a stunning exhibit of the landscapes, secret spaces and seasons of White Clay Creek State Park for all to enjoy.
