Do More 24 Results!

We finished the fundraiser “Do More 24” event where donations were requested during a 24 hr. period with matching funds available on March 3-4, 2022. We received a total of 77 donations from 58 donors for a total of $26,610. (this includes a $20,000 donation used as an internal match from a private donor) We won $600 worth of bonus prizes for having 25 donations in the first hour and a donation at 3am! We are waiting to hear what the matching funds from the Delaware Division of the Arts will be. We were the top performing arts organization (out of 51) in the “small non-profit” category of organizations with $500,000 annual budget or less. We earn far less at around $110,000 annually, so we were competing with some much larger organzations than ourselves. A big THANKS to everyone who donated. You made it happen!

Our drawing for a “Basket of Art” has been won by Karen Yarnall!

The Newark Arts Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We rely on the support of our community through cash donations, memberships, participation in classes, the purchase of artwork and supporting several fundraisers we conduct through the year. We are fortunate to have a large volunteer network which greatly reduces our staffing costs. We are able to make every dollar count and try to offer many programs at little or no cost. Help us reach our goals by making a donation at any time. Those who wish to make a monthly donation, should learn about our “Kahlo Club“. The Kahlo Club helps us anticipate your support so we know how to budget our expenses over the year.
