The Newark Arts Alliance is in the process of moving to its’ new home at 207 Louviers Dr., Newark, DE 19711. Our current location at 276 E. Main St, Suite 102 is no longer open to the public. Our new home is located in a shopping center called “Shoppes at Louviers” on Papermill Rd. in Newark, DE. Our new neighbors include SkipJack Dining, Pinang, Pamela’s Gourmet, Deerfield Wines, Hockessin Dance Center, Cacciatoris Pizza, Dunkin Donuts and many more fine businesses.
Our goal is to have a “soft opening” on Saturday, January 20th and a “grand opening” on February 24th. We are waiting for final inspections from the City of Newark, so can’t be sure if our planned dates will happen. We’ll keep you posted here!
We have many volunteers helping with the move, thank you! We recently received a donation of a beautiful outdoor bench from EcoPlastics. Thanks to Jim Kelly for this generous donation! We have also received grants from The Crystal Trust, Welfare Foundation, City of Newark Revenue Sharing Funds and the Newark Partnership to support our relocation and grand opening. Donations from our members and the community through the Annual Campaign also go a long way to help us build the future.
